What is Sciatica? (And How We Fix It)
Many people think sciatica is a "condition," but it is actually a symptom of an underlying problem.
"Sciatica" is the name for pain caused by the irritation or compression of your sciatic nerve the longest nerve in your body. This large nerve runs from your lower back, through your buttocks, and down the back of each leg. When something "pinches" this nerve, it sends pain signals radiating along its path.
Our job as a Rehabilitation Center is not to just chase this symptom. Whether you see our Physiotherapist for a mechanical diagnosis or our Rehab Therapist for soft-tissue release, we perform a comprehensive assessment to find the exact "pinch point" causing your agony.

Acute Pain & Inflammation Control
Our first priority is to "calm down" the irritated nerve. Your personalized treatment may include:
Gentle Manual Therapy to decompress the affected area.
Medical Acupuncture or Dolphin Neurostim to reduce nerve inflammation and block pain signals.
Directional Preference Exercises to "centralize" the pain (move it out of your leg).

Modern Cupping: To release fascial restrictions contributing to stiffness.
